Installing

Mac

Unzip the download. Copy FigAMP.component to Library › Audio › Plug-Ins › Components, FigAMP.vst3 to Library › Audio › Plug-Ins › VST3 and FigAMP.app to Applications. The install notes in the download walk through each step. Then restart your DAW.

Windows

Unzip the download and copy FigAMP.vst3 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3. The standalone FigAMP.exe can go anywhere you like. Then restart your DAW and rescan plugins if it asks.

Activating

How do I activate my licence?

Open FigAMP and click Buy / Activate in the top right. Sign in with the account you used to buy, and FigAMP activates on that computer. You can also activate offline with a machine file from your account page.

What happens when the trial ends?

FigAMP passes your guitar through unprocessed until you activate a licence. Your sessions and settings are kept.

Common questions

The standalone app doesn't hear my guitar

On a Mac, allow microphone access: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone, switch FigAMP on, then reopen the app. In the app's audio settings, choose your interface and the input your guitar is plugged into.

My DAW doesn't show FigAMP

Restart the DAW after installing and run its plugin rescan. On a Mac, LUNA and Logic use the Audio Unit version; most other DAWs use VST3.

Can I use my own cabinet impulse responses?

Yes. Click Load IR… in the Cabinet section and choose a .wav file.
